Industry variety - durable / economical / fast
Since the company was founded in 1999, we have demonstrated the highest level of competence in the field of conveyor technology across all sectors. This is how we work today with companies from all over the world. Each new project, with its individual challenges, is the foundation for the quality and performance of future tasks. Especially when custom solutions are required, we draw on our wealth of experience and combine proven solutions with new ones: tailored to your needs!
Some sectors are particularly important to us. We have put together a few selected references from various sectors so that you can get an idea of our services.
Airports
We know the expectations of passengers just as well as the expectations an airport operator has of baggage handling: the focus is on maximum speed, absolute availability and the best quality at fair prices.
Our proven airport facilities move and distribute hundreds of thousands of pieces of baggage worldwide every day, from check-in to the ramp and from the ramp to baggage claim.
Case study Stuttgart Airport
After a construction period of approximately one year, the conversion of the baggage distribution system in Terminals 1 and 2 at Stuttgart Airport was completed and approved on schedule.
Case study Zurich Airport
With a four-year project duration, the HÖRMANN Klatt Conveyors conveyor belts posed a particular challenge for Zurich Airport. The main challenge was to avoid disruption to check-ins and air traffic in general and to keep the overall operations running.
Case study Graz Airport
Modernisation and further development also play an important role for regional airports with low passenger numbers. Graz Airport was expanded with a new handling system provided by HÖRMANN Klatt Conveyors to ensure efficient and smooth baggage transport.
Hospitals
The greatest challenge for conveyor technology in the healthcare sector is the connection to the different interfaces. In many cases, this depends on whether the system runs to the satisfaction of the customer. Automation in hospitals must therefore be designed taking many different factors into account. The building structures have often grown over time and pose particular challenges for the conveyor technology during implementation.
Our systems help reduce costs by supporting all processes with a reliable conveyor system.
Case study LKH Klagenfurt
As part of the new construction of what was going to be the most modern hospital in Europe, we were commissioned in 2007 to build the container conveyor system for food, laundry, etc.
Mail and Parcels
The number of parcels has been increasing continuously for years. Many companies in mail and parcels logistics are therefore breaking new ground in organising their logistics processes. When implementing new conveyor systems for mail and parcels, speed and reliability are just as important as an experienced partner.
Our mail and parcels conveyor systems makes it possible to optimise your processes, and we ensure that the system will run smoothly for many years to come.
Case study Post France
We implemented a number of conveyor systems for the French Post Office, which made the mail and parcels conveyor service more efficient. To achieve this, we have implemented a system with a wide variety of requirements.
Industry
Conveyor systems for increasing efficiency can be found in most industrial companies. Thanks to automation and the optimal use of conveyor technology, products and items can be transported more quickly and reliably over the long term. The focus is on cost efficiency, durability and process stability.
Our robust automation solutions support your processes reliably with the best price-performance ratio.
Case study Linz Textil
After a devastating fire in the old warehouse, a new high-bay warehouse had to be built in record time.
Case study Hawle
We were able to set up a new, automated high-bay warehouse for the supply of production for Hawle Armaturen GmbH. A multi-branched system with numerous interfaces.
Case study Biohort
One of the central requirements in the Biohort GmbH project was the development of a coherent system concept, which had to be tailored to the individual needs of the customer. We are proud to have implemented Austria's most modern facility for sheet metal processing.
Wood-processing industry
The wood-processing industry primarily uses conveyors with steel chains. Even in connection with plastic sets, there are often residues on the conveyed goods due to the chain lubrication required. In addition to this, the lubrication of large systems is costly and requires extensive cleaning and maintenance, and these factors should not be underestimated.
In order to meet the quality requirements in the wood-processing industry, we rely on large-format and multi-lane modular belt conveyors with lubricant-free link belt chains in combination with integrated transport rollers.
Case study Mayr Melnhof Leoben
In order to meet the quality requirements in the wood-processing industry, for this project we relied on large-format and multi-lane modular belt conveyors with lubricant-free link belt chains in combination with integrated transport rollers. This made it possible to prevent smearing residues on the conveyed goods.
Foodstuff
Conveyor systems that come into contact with food must unconditionally meet hygiene regulations. In addition to special materials and processing techniques, stainless steel is primarily used.
Our conveyor solutions offer maximum added value for your business, whether it's a bakery, a meat processing plant, a cheese factory, a beverage bottling plant or another sector of the food industry.
Case study Berglandmilch Aschbach eGen
The Berglandmilch project involved the expansion of the existing high-bay warehouse and the revamping of the entire conveyor system. An extensive project for a versatile system.
Pharmaceutical
In the pharmaceutical industry in particular, the conveyor technology must be 100% reliable to guarantee the optimum quality of the products at all times.
Our state-of-the-art systems also meet complex requirements and increasing quality regulations.
Case study Takeda
As a general contractor, we successfully implemented the planning and construction of a high-bay warehouse with oxygen reduction and conveyor technology for Takeda Pharma GmbH.
Wholesale
If peak loads cause unrest, you shouldn't have to worry about the conveyor system as well. Our resilient and low-maintenance conveyor systems help you to be able to fully concentrate on your core business.
Case study Faie
We have expanded the bin conveyor technology for the agricultural wholesale giant FAIE and installed an automatic bin feeding system. We were able to find an innovative solution to the space problem.
Case study Limmert
We worked on an extensive project for the electrical wholesaler Limmert. In the course of a change in logistics, we took care of the revamping of the conveyor technology and the fire protection doors.
Special conveyor systems
Our conveyor systems are used in a wide variety of industries, but we cannot show them all in our overview. If your industry is not listed here, send us your request and we will let you know whether we have already gained experience in your area.
In any case, special conveyor systems require a personal discussion of your project and your requirements so that we can find a custom solution together. We look forward to your inquiry!
Case study Banner Batterien
At Banner Batteries, we have expanded the existing pallet conveyor technology and installed a new modular belt conveyor system. This allowed the company to connect different production lines.
